Fender Hot Rod Deluxe vs Fender Hot Rod DeVille?
yo im looking to buy a new amp.
i know the deluxe has 1x 12in speaker
and the deville is 2x 12in speakers
but is that the only difference?
and is the deville big enough to gig with? without buying a cabinet?
The Hot Rod Deville has more clean headroom, meaning you can turn it up louder without getting an overdrive sound. My friend owns a Hot Rod Deville, and I own a Hot Rod Deluxe White Lightning edition. I would try to get a special edition Deluxe with speaker upgrades instead of a Deville. If you want an even better amp, get a Vox AC15 with alnico blues. Those things have amazing tone for the price!
